Why do we need an Online Responsibility Day?

Technology defines what we're capable of doing online. But it's people who define the culture within an online community.

Tools like blocking, reporting, filtering and support help us respond to harmful behaviour and reduce the chance of it happening again. But they can't build the culture on their own.

Online Responsibility Day is about the choices we make with that technology, moving towards online communities built on respect, responsibility and accountability.
